Every Step. Every Dollar.
Every Life Changed.

Join the Manistee County Homelessness Awareness Walk — September 26, 2026. Registration opens at 9:00 a.m., walk begins at 10:00 a.m. Your gift turns awareness into action and gives our neighbors a safe place to call home.

The walk steps off from 525 Michael Street and makes its way to the Lions Pavilion — a mile of solidarity through the heart of Manistee.

"In 2009, Safe Harbor opened its doors. Since then, over 600 Manistee County residents have found shelter, stability, and hope."

Homelessness doesn't happen in faraway cities. It happens here — on our streets, in our neighborhoods, among our neighbors. Behind every statistic is a mother, a veteran, a teenager, a family who simply needs a hand.

The HAW2.0 Homelessness Awareness Walk was born from a deep belief: that when a community walks together, no one has to walk alone. Every dollar you give funds the shelter, services, and human dignity that Safe Harbor and ECHO His Love provide every single day.
