Join the Manistee County Homelessness Awareness Walk — September 26, 2026. Registration opens at 9:00 a.m., walk begins at 10:00 a.m. Your gift turns awareness into action and gives our neighbors a safe place to call home.
The walk steps off from 525 Michael Street and makes its way to the Lions Pavilion — a mile of solidarity through the heart of Manistee.

Homelessness doesn't happen in faraway cities. It happens here — on our streets, in our neighborhoods, among our neighbors. Behind every statistic is a mother, a veteran, a teenager, a family who simply needs a hand.

Donations directly fund nightly shelter beds at Safe Harbor, ensuring no one has to sleep outside in Manistee County. Every night, families and individuals find safety within our walls.
Warm Meals
Every guest receives nutritious meals during their stay. Your gift keeps the pantry full and the table set for those who need it most.
Case Management
Our trained staff walk alongside guests — helping them navigate housing applications, employment, and family reunification toward lasting stability.
